On the first floor of Villa Plaisance, a wing of the house is entirely yours, designed for your comfort and peace of mind. This 50 m² private space has two bedrooms and a private bathroom, accessible from both rooms. The Blue Room, the larger of the two, has, in addition to its two beds, a sofa bed and a coffee table: a real sitting area, for a meal in or a moment of work.

A weekend alone, as a couple or with friends, a stop on the way to a family holiday, a business trip near Avignon or Châteauneuf-du-Pape: the Villa Plaisance B&B rooms adapt to your stay.
The two bedrooms are booked together: the whole space is yours, whether you are one or five. For two, we prepare the Green Room, and the Blue Room becomes your private sitting room. If you would like a room each, both rooms are prepared at the three-person rate. The inner door between the rooms stays open, closed or locked, as you wish.

The front door opens first onto the Blue Room, the most spacious, with its beds, sofa and library. From there, you reach the main bedroom and the private bathroom. It is your space, your privacy, and nobody else's.

Blue Room
The room for those travelling with you: a couple of friends, children or grandchildren. Bright, with two large windows, one facing the sunrise, the other the green side of the house. Its two 90×200 beds can be joined into a large 180×200 bed (king size), then fitted with a mattress topper for extra comfort. The sofa bed sleeps a third person or two teenagers*. With its library of 300 books, it is the room for readers and families. For two guests, it becomes your private sitting room. Mattresses steam-cleaned under high pressure after each departure.

Green Room
An intimate, welcoming room with a 160×200 bed (queen size). Its window looks onto a green side of the house, shaded by trees in summer. Reversible air conditioning, television and wifi. Mattress steam-cleaned under high pressure after each departure.

A private bathroom, accessible from both rooms.
Kept in its original 1970s style, the bathroom is carefully maintained. It has a shower cubicle, a washbasin with mirror, a toilet, a bidet and a radiator. Its small window looks onto the same green side as the Green Room.
We provide towels and toilet paper. A hairdryer is available: always more room in your luggage. Remember your favourite soap and shower gel, as we do not provide them.
For cleaning, in addition to our usual products, we go over the bathroom and floors with a high-pressure steam cleaner, for hygiene and environmental reasons.
Homemade
breakfast, included.
Never the same twice, unless you ask: it changes with the season, the produce of the day, the mood of the moment and above all your wishes. At the end of each breakfast, we choose the next one together, sweet or savoury. A Breton galette with ham, egg and cheese, perhaps? Either way: homemade cold-pressed fruit juice, hot drinks and homemade yoghurt. Served in the dining room, overlooking the pool and Mont Ventoux when the sky allows, between 8 and 10 am, at the time agreed the day before.

that keep coming up.
Are there other guests in the B&B rooms?
No. We only take one booking at a time: the two bedrooms and the bathroom are reserved for you alone, whether you are travelling alone, as a couple or as a family. The only people you will meet are our family, who live in the house and share the pool and garden with you.
For two people, which room will be prepared?
For two, we prepare the Green Room, with its 160×200 bed (queen size). The Blue Room then becomes your private sitting room, with its sofa and library. If you would like a room each, both rooms are prepared at the three-person rate.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, homemade breakfast is included with every B&B stay. Served in the dining room, overlooking the pool and Mont Ventoux when the sky allows, between 8 and 10 am, at a precise time agreed the day before (exceptionally brought forward by half an hour, or from 7 am for a business trip, with a take-away breakfast option). It is never the same twice, unless you ask: it changes with the season, the produce of the day, the mood of the moment and your wishes. At the end of each breakfast, we choose the next one together, sweet or savoury. Either way: homemade cold-pressed fruit juice served straight away, hot drinks and homemade yoghurt.
Can we eat on site?
Yes. There is no kitchen or cooking facility for the B&B rooms, but if you would rather not go out for dinner, since 2026 you have a fridge with a freezer compartment in your private entrance. You can keep your fresh produce there (cheese, salads, yoghurts, a good bottle) and your ice packs, then enjoy them in the evening in your room or by the pool. On request, we lend unbreakable tableware for the pool, or real tableware for a meal in the garden, as well as an electric barbecue. Simply leave the dishes outside your room in the evening, we take care of washing them.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
Yes, both rooms (Green and Blue) have reversible air conditioning. Wifi is free: you will get the code on arrival or by message.
Are children welcome in the B&B rooms?
Yes, with pleasure. For children under 2, we provide a travel cot, and a high chair for breakfast. The sofa bed in the Blue Room can also sleep two teenagers (on request, with a supplement).
Can more than four people stay?
Yes. The sofa bed in the Blue Room can sleep a fifth adult, or two teenagers, with a supplement of €30 per person per night. Please give the exact number of guests when booking, on Airbnb, on Booking or in your direct request.
When are the B&B rooms available?
The B&B rooms are open from September to June. In July and August, the house is let as a whole first. If some dates remain free, we sometimes open them as B&B rooms too: feel free to contact us.
How do I get to Villa Plaisance?
By car, Villa Plaisance is 15 minutes from Avignon via the RN7 or the A7 motorway (Avignon-Nord exit). From Avignon TGV station, allow about 15 minutes by taxi.
By train, Bédarrides station is a 10-minute walk from the house. It is handy for the journey, but services are limited: the train takes 11 minutes on average to Avignon Centre, with about 11 direct trains a day. For Orange, allow around ten minutes, with a stop at Courthézon. The weak point is the evening: the last train from Bédarrides to Avignon leaves around 8:17 pm, and the last one from Avignon to Bédarrides around 7:53 pm. No return by train after dinner or a show in town (2026 timetable, check on SNCF Connect).

Is there parking?
Yes, free private parking within the grounds, closed by an electric gate. You park at the foot of the house.
Can we use the pool during our stay?
Yes. The pool (12 × 6 m) is open from 9 am to 9 pm. It is maintained from the first to the last fine days, in practice from May to October; whether you swim then depends on how you feel about cool water. You share it only with our family, and we always make sure you have priority on the sun loungers and the two parasols. A solar shower lets you cool off.
Do we need to bring our own pool towels?
Yes, please bring towels for the pool and garden: the bathroom towels are for indoor use only. If you prefer to travel light, we rent pool towels on site, €5 per towel per stay.
How do I book the B&B rooms?
For now, we trust two booking platforms: Airbnb and Booking.com. Choose the one you are used to. You can also book direct by sending us a booking request: we reply within 24 hours.
