The Marius Fabre soap works has been running since 1900. It produces authentic Marseille soap made with olive oil, cooked in cauldrons, following the traditional cold process. The factory tour in Salon-de-Provence is free. You can see the cooking vats, the drying tables, the moulds. Plan on 45 minutes from Bédarrides. The shop sells directly at factory price, without distribution markup.

Castelain chocolatier, Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Ten minutes from Bédarrides, the Castelain chocolatier offers creations built around chocolate and Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine. The pairing works better than you might expect, especially with tannic ageing wines. The shop offers tastings on site. Closed on Sundays out of season, so it is worth checking the opening hours before stopping by.
